Movin’ On Up

Wheeee! Well I’ve done a lot of growing in here over the past two months and while I can still move around my penthouse has turned into more of a studio apartment. The landlord did say it was a 9 months lease so i have a little more than 2 months to go. But for now I’m having a great time tumbling and testing out my legs and arms. I’m sure my weight of 3 lbs and length of 15 inches is making mommy uncomfortable, sorry mommy. I can definitely here all kinds of voices in here and I’m pretty sure I’ve got my mommy and daddy’s voice picked out. Stay tuned for more to come!

Wow almost 2 whole months since my last update…so much is happening!

Well for those who might have been guessing, you’re time is up! I’m a gonna be Boy! Although you won’t see any “proof ” of that my latest feature presentation. It’s been dubbed “hottest action flick of the Fall” because some pretty intense hiccuping scenes.

Meanwhile things are great in my ever-expanding living area (Mommy must have secured a subcontractor to make some renovations). It’s a good thing too because my arms and legs have really grown! I’ve been working on my touchdown celebrations by doing all kinds of somersaults in here..wheeee! I wonder if Mommy can feel those? I’m starting to hear voices and sounds outside which is probably just my Mom and Dad, keep it down you guys, I’m trying to concentrate! I’m a movie star!

I’ve been biding my time here in my new room, and yet somehow a casting director must have gotten my reel. So yeah, I’m starring in a new movie. It’s only 6 seconds long, and its black and white – but hey ya gotta start somewhere. You can see the full length feature here:

Pretty sweet huh? Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.

My mommy and daddy have been trying to decide what my name will be… I hope they pick a good one! But, they shouldn’t worry about it too much – I’m not even sure if I’m a boy or a girl yet (ahhhh!) Right now they’re calling me “the little Brazil nut” because thats about how big I am. Just about an inch and a half long. I’m growing faster and faster everyday – and my mommy is happy to help by getting plenty of sleep and plenty to eat as well. :)

Somebody was looking for me!

Uhoh! I think I’ve been found! Somebody was knocking on the door to my new place yesterday. Don’t they see that “do not disturb” sign outside? geewhiz! I checked with the landlord before I moved in and she said I was free to do whatever I wanted for at least 8 months with no interruptions. Oh well.

Anyway, still putting the finishing touches on my living room today, things are really starting to look gooood. I’ve grown some too! I’m almost the length of one of those chocolate sprinkles that was on the last cupcake you ate. Or for all you nerds out there, about an 1/8 of an inch. Hey!, that’s pretty good, even if I do so say so myself. I have regular heartbeat now, and my arms and legs are beginning to sprout! GO ME!

My mommy has some interesting noises going on inside her tummy, I hope she’s feeling alright. The last thing I want to do is make mommy feel bad! Haven’t heard much from that daddy fella, but then again I don’t have any ears yet, so I’m sure I’ll hear from him later. Six and a half weeks down, and about thirty five more to go!

Hello world!

Hi everyone! This is the official blog from and about Baby McGugan! I will be writing to you from inside my mommy’s tummy for the next 8 months or so. I’ve been trying to build myself a nice little place in here for a few weeks now, but so far I don’t think anyone’s noticed. Whew! I’ve heard mommies tend to get a little excited once they know there’s a baby growing a home inside them, so the longer I go unknown the better! I’m pretty small right now (like the size of a sesame seed), so hiding from the public eye is fairly easy. Until I’m discovered I’ll just continue to bide my time and build my new digs (things are starting to get pretty plush around here). I think my mommy has good taste and my daddy surely would like me in the coolest flat this side of the pelvic girdle. That’s all for now, I’ll post again when some more excitement happens!
